What it can do
- Videos uploaded in parts with LinkedIn's Videos API, then published with the Posts API.
- Images: one image or a multi-image post with up to 20 images, each with alt text.
- Documents: PDF, PowerPoint or Word files (up to 100 MB, 300 pages) shown as a swipeable document post (
/api/upload_document). - Text posts up to 3,000 characters.
- Visibility: public, connections only or signed-in members; optionally switch off resharing.
- Company pages. Pages you administer are connected through a second LinkedIn app with the Community Management API. Choose the page per post (
target_linkedin_page_id) or pin one per profile. - First comment under the post, and delete posts again via the API.
Limits
- Review: a LinkedIn developer app for personal profiles; company pages need LinkedIn's approval for the Community Management API. Until LinkedIn has approved our apps, the connect button shows "coming soon".
- Access lasts 60 days. LinkedIn only gives refresh tokens to approved partner apps. Otherwise you reconnect every 60 days – we remind you in time and mark the account.
- Statistics are not part of our LinkedIn integration yet.
- Document titles are capped at 400 characters by LinkedIn.
- Company page posts need an admin or content admin role on that page.
Setup
- In the app open Accounts, choose the profile and click Connect on the LinkedIn tile.
- To post to company pages choose Company pages in the connect dialog (when that option is available), otherwise Personal profile.
- Sign in with LinkedIn and allow posting on your behalf (and managing your pages, for company pages).
- The tile shows your name and, for company pages, the pages you administer.
- In New post tick LinkedIn, choose the page if needed and the visibility.

FAQ
Why do I have to reconnect LinkedIn every two months?
LinkedIn limits access to 60 days for most apps. We send a reminder and a webhook before access ends; see expired login.
Can I post to a showcase page?
Yes, if you are an admin of it – showcase pages are organizations in LinkedIn's API.
Is there a carousel for LinkedIn?
Multi-image posts show up to 20 images in a grid. For a swipeable carousel upload a PDF as a document post.
