Upload-Post compatible API

What it can do

Supported with the same paths and response shapes:

• Publishing: /api/upload (video), /api/upload_photos (photos and carousels), /api/upload_text, /api/upload_document (LinkedIn documents) – synchronous, async_upload or scheduled with scheduled_date and timezone.
• Queue slots: add_to_queue and max_posts_per_slot on uploads, plus /api/uploadposts/queue/settings, /queue/preview and /queue/next-slot.
• Status and history: /api/uploadposts/status, /api/uploadposts/history.
• Scheduled posts: list, read, change (PATCH) and cancel under /api/uploadposts/schedule.
• Post actions: /api/uploadposts/posts/retry and /posts/unpublish.
• Profiles and connections: /api/uploadposts/users (create, list, change display name, delete), disconnecting a platform, generate-jwt connect links, pinned Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
• Pages and boards: Facebook pages, LinkedIn pages, Pinterest boards and sections, TikTok settings, Instagram and Threads publishing limits.
• Analytics: /api/analytics/{profile}, total-impressions, post-analytics.
• Webhooks: /api/uploadposts/users/notifications with the same events and signature header.
• Per-platform fields such as youtube_title, privacy_level, first_comment, youtube_playlist_id, is_ai_generated.

Limits

• Platforms Upload-Post offers but we do not (Reddit, Discord, Telegram, Google Business, Mastodon, WordPress) are answered like an unconnected platform.
• Comments, direct messages, AutoDM, the FFmpeg editor and ads endpoints are not part of our API.
• TikTok music and location fields are accepted but ignored with a warning – TikTok's official API does not support them.
• Each platform works once its developer app is approved – see the status on the platform pages.

Setup

1. Create an account and a profile with the same username you use at Upload-Post (user field).
2. Connect the social accounts of that profile under Accounts.
3. Create an API key under API & webhooks.
4. In your script, workflow or scenario change two things:

+ https://my-video-automation.com/api/upload
  Authorization: Apikey YOUR_NEW_KEY

5. Send a test post and check the result under History.

FAQ

Do my webhooks keep working?

Yes. We send the same events with the header X-Upload-Post-Signature (and our own X-VA-Signature), so existing signature checks pass.

Can I run both services in parallel?

Yes. Move one profile at a time and keep the old key until everything runs.

Are scheduled posts at Upload-Post moved over?

No. Posts scheduled there stay there. Let them run out or schedule them again with us.
