Video Automation

Publish to Facebook pages automatically

Post Reels, videos, photos, Stories and text to the Facebook pages you manage – through the Graph API with page access tokens.

Status: Coming soon

Built and tested; the platform's approval is still missing (Meta App Review + business verification). Until then Facebook cannot be connected.

What it can do

  • Reels with description, uploaded in the three steps Facebook prescribes (start, transfer, finish).
  • Classic page videos with title and description, published or saved as a draft.
  • Stories with a video or a photo.
  • Photos and multi-photo posts. One photo, or several photos in one post.
  • Text posts with an optional link preview.
  • Several pages. If your Facebook login manages more than one page, choose the page per post – or pin one page per profile so it is always used.
  • First comment under the post right after publishing.
  • Statistics of the page (followers) and of a post (reactions, comments, shares), and delete posts again via the API.

Limits

  • Review: Meta App Review and Meta business verification. Until Meta has approved our app, the connect button shows "coming soon".
  • Pages only. Personal Facebook profiles and groups cannot be posted to via the API.
  • 30 Reels per page per day (Facebook's limit).
  • You need a page role that allows creating content (for example admin or editor).
  • Facebook processes Reels after the upload; the post URL can appear a few minutes later.

Setup

  1. In the app open Accounts, choose the profile and click Connect on the Facebook tile.
  2. Sign in with Facebook. In the dialog, select all pages you want to post to – pages you leave out cannot be used later.
  3. Back in the app the tile lists the available pages.
  4. In New post tick Facebook and choose the page and the type (Reel, video, Story).
  5. Optional: pin a default page per profile (API: POST /api/uploadposts/users/facebook-page).

Via API: platform[]=facebook and facebook_page_id. With only one page it is picked automatically. More: connect accounts.

FAQ

I connected Facebook but my page is missing.

In Facebook's dialog you chose which pages to share. Reconnect Facebook and select the page; you can also change it in Facebook under Settings → Business integrations.

Can I post to my personal profile?

No. Facebook only allows apps to publish to pages.

What is the difference between Reel and video?

Reels are short vertical videos shown in the Reels feed. Classic videos appear in the page's video tab and can be longer and horizontal.

Does the connection expire?

Page access tokens from a long-lived login do not expire on their own. If you change your Facebook password or remove the app, the account is marked "reconnect needed".
